Price Analyzer is a new tool, available as part of BCC Pricing for Profit – a proprietary solution from BCC that facilitates planning and management of prices in the SAP system. Price Analyzer provides advanced pricing policy control capabilities in companies with large scale price lists with a high level of complexity and variability.
Price management on a large scale, where the price consists of a number of factors, and dynamic changes occur all the time, is a big challenge for managers of sales departments. Although the standard functionality of pricing in SAP is very rich and offers a wide range of configuration options, its clarity and ergonomics of standard mechanisms used to review and update pricing conditions leave a lot to be desired. Our customers often ask about the possibilities of extending the standard SAP pricing mechanisms – especially as regards presenting current and future values of pricing conditions, presenting transaction price changes, managing changes in pricing conditions, reviewing the history of changes in pricing conditions. In response to these needs, BCC has developed Price Analyzer – a new module of Pricing for Profit for planning and managing prices. This solution is based on the SAP Workflow mechanism.
Using Price Analyzer, a person responsible for a pricing policy in the company can download from SAP to Excel the required data, verify, change and then export it to Price Analyzer, where it will be further processed. There is no need to copy the data manually, the process is faster and the risk of errors is reduced. The loaded data sheet is automatically put into circulation in the SAP system, where the individual price factors are accepted. A new price is quickly calculated. Moreover, Price Analyzer allows you to view the history of changes, which is a very useful functionality for every person who manages prices.
