As part of the BCC DemoRoom, we invite you to the webinar "Consolidation of financial statements with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC)".
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC) is a solution that supports planning and consolidation of financial statements. The system allows for the definition of the flow of a business process (planning or consolidation) and subsequent user support in its execution. Individual stages of the execution include source data collection (directly from the ERP system, data warehouse, flat files), verification of data consistency, currency conversions, surcharge settlement, distributions of planned values, calculation and posting of consolidation adjustments. The use of two interfaces – MS Excel and the website accessible through a web browser allow users to quickly master the tool.
SAP BPC can be used in enterprises where there is a need for frequent and complex planning. In the field of consolidation, SAP BPC can be successfully used in corporate groups, regardless of the accounting standards applied.
The implementation of SAP BPC reduces the time needed to complete the entire process of planning or consolidation. The automation minimizes the risk of incorrect data loading or human errors. The transparency of the business process flow and the flexibility in the configuration and use of control tools allow early detection of inconsistencies, which – given the high complexity of the planning or consolidation – is critical to the advisability of execution of subsequent stages. The system maintains a progress history for every planning or consolidation run, which allows easy creation of comparative reports between periods.
During the webinar we will present you a sample run of consolidation of financial statements in SAP BPC from collecting the source data up to obtaining the consolidated financial statements of a corporate group.
The webinar will be held on February 23, 2016 at 1.00 p.m. We invite you to register and to forward our invitation also to other people in your company that might be interested in the subject of SAP improvements.
