A key role in building a comprehensive approach to the IT security management is currently played by SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems. They provide advanced protection for corporate networks through tracking, analyzing and compiling events from different sources. The automatic analysis and correlation of these events enables the quick identification of those of them that pose a real threat to key applications and data.
Unfortunately, the successful integration of the SAP® system with SIEM systems was problematic. Therefore, agileSI ™ GmbH and BCC prepared jointly a special proposal based on AgileSi (Security Intelligence for SAP Systems), a solution which is a bridge connecting SAP systems with SIEM systems. Now our Customers will be able to monitor incidents related to the security of SAP systems in SIEM systems in real time.
agileSI ™ enables the ongoing monitoring of important security aspects in SAP. The results are available in many SIEM systems, for example HP ArcSight, IBM QRadar, Splunk and LogPoint. This allows you to monitor a wide range of threats, such as the use of an account, malware attacks and unauthorized access to sensitive data (e.g. data on employees or pays, price lists, contracts, sales volumes, data on research and development). Such oversight allows for automatic responses to be called up to protect the SAP environment and stop security threats and attacks in real time.
As part of the cooperation, BCC offers sales, implementation and customization of the agileSI™ solution, including any necessary work in the SAP environment.
