Grupa Żywiec has taken a decision on using BCC's outsourcing services in the administration and monitoring of SAP Exchange Infrastructure platform, one of the components of SAP NetWeaver platform.
SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI) environment ensures communication in the complex IT environment of Żywiec Group. The company's IT structure consists of SAP systems and other solutions used in the Group's units.
One of SAP XI functions is integrating SAP systems of Żywiec Group with the system used in distribution units of Żywiec Trade. Ireneusz Kubalewski, IT director in Żywiec Group, says: "By using standard SAP integration technologies SAP we eliminate the necessity to build specialized, complex interfaces between systems, which in a long term is reflected in reduction of maintenance costs".
The scale of the solution in Żywiec Group is proved by the load of electronic messages handled with SAP XI platform: over 20,000 daily. Under the contract BCC consultants manage SAP XI environment and constantly monitor the appropriateness of communication conducted through this platform.
