Zakłady Maszynowe Hamech in Hajnówka has been using SAP Business One, integrated with the CAD 3D Inventor application as well as a tool for recording time. The partner of the implementation project was 7milowy a company of the BCC Group.
The system incorporated key business areas such as finance and accounting, procurement and business activity, inventory and distribution, production, reporting, sale and customer service, as well as warehouse management and human resources management.
The integration of SAP Business One with other solutions used in the company, provided access to reliable information based on real data, about the total costs of production and subsequently, reliable knowledge about margins and profitability taking into account real costs of labour and indirect costs of ongoing investments.
Hamech obtained a reproduction of all key business processes in one integrated system. However, the most important in terms of the nature of its business is reliable information on profitability, taking into account actual labour costs and indirect costs of ongoing investments. All thanks to integration with the CAD 3D Inventor application, the tool for recording working hours and the possibility of cost accounting for individual projects in SAP Business One. The partner of the implementation project was 7milowy a company of the BCC Group.
During the project implementation of SAP Business One in cooperation with 7milowy, Hamech also decided to use outsourcing services of the BCC Group. The current system is hosted in the BCC Data Centers, which ensures its availability and high efficiency, in compliance with parameters set out in the SLA agreement.
As pointed out by Ryszard Sokołowski, President of the Board, Zakłady Maszynowe Hamech: “Implementation of the SAP system allowed us to obtain reliable information, which is significant in the process of enterprise management. Thanks to the system, we can plan production process with an accuracy of 2-3 hours, establish a safety margin for materials according to the order execution time, control material purchase costs by tracking the last price of purchases.
SAP also enables us to keep track of the profitability of the production machinery and equipment based on information on labour costs of the Maintenance Department and the purchase value of consumables and spare parts. Also important from our point of view is the conversion of structural drawings (executable) for materials need divided into trade goods and production materials.
