We play in an international team – BCC in the SNP Group

At the beginning of May this year, the German company SNP AG acquired 100% of BCC shares. SNP AG is an international SAP partner, a provider of business transformation solutions. We asked Bartłomiej Buszczak, CEO of BCC, what this means to BCC's customers and employees.

Why did BCC join the SNP Group?

This decision is a consequence of BCC's strategy of developing in foreign markets that has been implemented for nearly 10 years. For many years, we have been achieving a significant revenue from projects abroad – depending on the year, it was from 20 to 40%. Joining a larger group gives us an opportunity to get new impulses, not just financial investments in the company's development, which should translate into increased revenues and scale of operations abroad.

What does this change mean for the market in Poland?

Functioning in the SNP Group results in broadening the range of products and services on offer and new areas of competence, primarily related to the know-how of transforming the SAP and IT environments. This main area of SNP’s specialization creates a new value in the Polish market, which is particularly interesting for the largest organizations in Poland that make such changes.

In turn, what has remained unchanged for years does not change now. BCC is and intends to remain the SAP market leader in Poland and the largest SAP partner here. The BCC brand, which has been known for over 20 years, will continue to represent our company on the market.

How does this affect relationships with existing customers?

In connection with joining the Group, we do not plan any organizational changes either within the company or with regard to the relationships with our customers.

In a formal sense, nothing changes. Joining the SNP Group does not affect the agreements with SAP and does not require any annexes to be signed. Changing the shareholder in the National Court Register does not affect BCC's formal liabilities, the company is and will be represented by the management board with the same members, with the same scope of responsibilities.

The scope of services and products provided by SAP will be maintained. What's more – the potential of BCC and our capabilities will increase. We gain access not only to SNP products and know-how, but also to the potential of the entire organization, with locations not only in Europe but also in the USA, China and Singapore.

What changes are awaiting BCC’s employees?

The new investor has made the transaction because of the team of BCC employees and their competence. Therefore, it is clear that the staff of all departments remains unchanged. BCC will develop – expanding its competencies, increasing its presence in international markets and its scale of operations. All this is connected with the growth of the team in Poland.

SNP AG is a joint stock company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany, specializing in SAP business transformation projects (including changes resulting from the division, merger of companies, reorganization of processes, data harmonization, etc.), based on its own IT products and solutions. The company, headquartered in Heidelberg, has 24 locations worldwide, over 750 employees and EUR 80 million in revenue.
