VanPur, one of the largest beer manufacturers in Poland, has streamlined work in three warehouses of finished products and improved customer service through the implementation of SAP WM.
The partnerof the SAP WM (Warehouse Management) implementation project in Van Pur was BCC. The warehouse management system went live in mid-March 2014.
The SAPwarehouse management solution was launched at the plant in Rakszawa, in warehouses located in Rakszawa, Zaczernie and Leżajsk. In addition to developing the concept and configuration of warehouse management tools in SAP, BCC, together with the hardware provider, was responsible for providing logistics label applicators and the controlling software, as well as radio terminals used by warehouse operatives to handle SAP WMtransactions. A service of warehouse labeling and radio network installation was provided as well.
Furthermore, BCC consultants adjusted the transportation managementsolution to the specific nature of SAP WM.
Van Pur is Poland's largest independent beer manufacturer. The total production capacity of breweries in Rakszawa, Łomża, Koszalin, Jędrzejów and Zabrze exceeds 4 million hectoliters of beer per year. Van Pur owns such brands as: Łomża, Brok, Van Pur, Karpackie and Strzelec.
