On 2 X 2014, the certification unit of TÜV NORD Poland completed the audit of the existing management systems of BCC in the areas: quality, information safety and services. The audit confirmed the compliance of the integrated management system with the standards: ISO/IEC 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011.
The audit covered the full range of services provided by BCC, ranging from SAP systems deployments through outsourcing services and servicing to software development.
"The BCC, for many years has been known for the implementation of international management standards, the organization maintains management systems in the field of quality, services and information security. During this year's audit, we in particular highly evaluated the integrated management systems, including the standards of the regular services provided, such as managed hosting, IT systems administration or SAP application management. In the audited sample a number of hard evidences were found reflecting attention to detail and professionalism in the field of protection of processed information, fulfillment of the established terms of SLA and care of property entrusted to BCC by its customers. It is with great pleasure that The Certification Unit of TÜV NORD Poland will again recommend compliance of the ISMS system with the requirements of the new norms of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 – said Robert Wojcik, Lead Auditor at TÜV NORD Poland.
BCC was the first consulting company in Poland that received the ISO 9001 certificate (in 1998). In 2007, BCC certificated the information security management system, functioning in the BCC Outsourcing Centre as in compliance with the norms of ISO/IEC 27001. In 2008, BCC – as the first IT service provider – received the ISO/IEC 20000-1 certificate, which confirms compliance of the IT services management, implemented by the BCC Outsourcing Center, with the code of good practice described in the ITIL v3 library.
