In the ranking of the Polish IT Market Leaders for the year 2016, prepared by Computerworld, BCC again took the first place in the category “The largest provider of IT solutions and services for the agriculture and food processing industry”.
Computerworld TOP200 is a prestigious publication that has been the primary source of information for people interested in the Polish ICT industry: IT managers, IT specialists and analysts, for over 25 years. The Computerworld TOP200 report is a comprehensive study on the Polish ICT market. Its aim is to present a comprehensive picture of the Polish ICT industry and its prospects and challenges.
BCC has maintained the first place in the food industry ranking for the second year in a row as a result of its intensive, long-term cooperation with companies from various branches of this industry. BCC customers include producers of meat, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, processed vegetable and fish products, milk and dairy products, tea and coffee, sweets, as well as companies from sugar and tobacco industries. For these companies, BCC implements and develops SAP systems and provides IT outsourcing services, among other services.
Top places in the ranking of the largest providers of IT solutions and services for the industrial and construction sectors (12th place in Poland) as well as for the transport, shipping and logistics sector (13th place) confirm its strong position in other key sectors of the economy.
BCC has also been classified as one of leaders among the largest provider of IT solutions and services for the small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) sector. A high place in the ranking of companies with the largest research and development (R&D) expenditure is also worth mentioning.
The services offered on the basis of BCC Data Centers have been reflected in BCC's positions achieved in the ranking of providers of data center and data processing services (16th place), providers of maintenance services (14th place), providers of outsourcing services (15th place).
Globally, in the ranking of the largest IT companies operating in Poland in 2016, BCC has moved 10 places up in relation to the last year and it currently holds the 94th place.
