SPRINT Discrete Manufacturing is the third industry solution prepared by BCC to be granted a certificate by SAP Polska within a world-wide initiative mySAP All-in-One.
SPRINT Discrete Manufacturing is a preconfigured system, based on mySAP Business Suite, adjusted to the needs and characteristics of SMBs operating in industrial production. It is targeted at companies with a yearly income up to PLN 600m and the employment of up to 1000 people that produce goods in the process of repetitive or order-based manufacturing. The solution is created for the following market segments: machinery manufacture, devices and parts, tools, household appliances, household and garden articles.
BCC prepared SPRINT Discrete Manufacturing on the basis of a preconfigured system SPRINT, developed three years ago, targeted at SMBs, and on the basis of its long experience in the execution of SAP implementations for companies operating in industrial production area.
The initiative mySAP All-in-One, operating already in many countries, involves supplying SMBs with preconfigured IT solutions that are tailored to the needs of an industry. Specialized SAP partners carry out their development and implementation. In December 2003 BCC was the first SAP partner in Poland to be granted two certificates for its packages SPRINT Food Industry and SPRINT Publishing Industry. The main advantages of mySAP All-in-One solutions are lower cost and shorter time of implementation when compared with the regular SAP implementation as well as ready-made function sets included in a package that support business processes in a particular industry.
