Bystronic, a leading provider of solutions for the sheet metal processing business, has tapped SNP to implement its global SAP rollout program. The solutions provider is an ideal choice: with operating units in Switzerland, Poland, Asia and South America, SNP provides its services worldwide.
The aim of the project is to introduce the SAP template based on the front-end solution SAP Screen Personas used in the Swiss headquarters and other sales and service subsidiaries into all remaining Bystronic entities worldwide.
The project focuses on the FI, CO, SD, MM and CS modules and aims to achieve integration with the ByExcellence CRM (with MS-Dynamics CRM) solution and the ByGlance (with BI Analytics Platform Qlik) corporate reporting solutions.
The scope of the project is tremendous due to the geographical area it covers: Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Moreover, local legal and business requirements must be met in each country.
Since the kickoff in May 2018, the SNP team has been working on rollouts in the remaining Bystronic subsidiaries. The first production launches have already taken place: Bystronic Canada began implementing the SAP corporate system in January 2019, followed by South Korea in February. The entire rollout program is scheduled to be completed by 2021/22.
The project is a prime example of how SNP provides services on a global scale. Cooperation is jointly coordinated by SNP experts from Switzerland and Poland. SNP Poland provides the core project team and generally manages the program and project. SNP units from South America and China will also be involved in their regions.
