Implementation of SAP solutions in the area of human resources and wages in Makro Cash & Carry Polska and Elite Cafe companies, was successfully completed in January 2002. Both implementation projects were managed by BCC.
Makro Cash & Carry Polska implementation project was realised pursuant to a corporate concept of Makro, called "Common template", common for all the European Makro companies. However, the implementation works, carried out by both Makro employees and BCC consultants, resulted in introduction of specific changes, related to the peculiarity of Polish human resources and wages regulations, to the corporate concept. Activated in January functionalities: Human Resources Administration, Payroll and Organisation Structure Planning, are used by human resources departments and accounting departments both in the Headquarters and in the respective halls of Makro.
Elite Cafe implementation project concerned the following functionalities: Human Resources Administration, Payroll Management, as well as some components of Human Resources Planning. Implementation of SAP HR solutions in Elite Cafe was facilitated by the use of a preconfigured HR SPRINT model, which provides opportunities for cheaper and quicker implementation of the key SAP HR functionalities. The solution, prepared by BCC, is the next element of R/3 SPRINT – a preconfigured SAP system, designed for medium sized companies, which has been used by Elite Cafe since January 2001. HR SPRINT may also be activated in those companies, where other SAP solutions have been implemented by standard methods.
