Implementation of SAP R/3 system started in Pfeifer und Langen Polska sp. z o.o. in Poznan and in Gostyn and Miejska Gorka sugar plants from Pfeifer und Langen Group. The project is conducted with active participation of BCC implementation team.
The implementation began in April 2001 and productyive start of the system is planned for January, 2002. In the next stage, SAP R/3 system will be implemented in next sugar plants belonging to the Group. The following modules will be implemented: FI – financial accounting, CO – controlling, FI-AA – assets accounting, MM – material management, SD – sales and distribution.
Pfeifer und Langen is one of the biggest sugar producers in Europe, with headquarter in Koln, Germany. Pfeifer und Langen Group in Poland is six sugar plants in western part of the country: Glogow, Gostyn, Gora Slaska, Koscian, Sroda Wielkopolska and Miejska Gorka.
