AmRest, an operator of more than 390 restaurants including such brands as Pizza Hut, KFC or Burger King, has completed SAP implementation in three Central European countries. AmRest’s implementation partner in this undertaking was BCC.
The implementation launched in November 2007 was one of the greatest international IT projects realized by the Polish consulting companies. The undertaking embraced AmRest companies: American Restaurants Sp. z o.o. from Poland, American Restaurants s.r.o. from the Czech Republic and American Restaurants Kft. from Hungary. More than 70 persons from the three countries, including more than 30 BCC consultants, were involved in this project.
The implementation covered the areas of finance, fixed assets, controlling, materials management, as well as sales and distribution. In Poland the system was launched in July, in Hungary and the Czech Republic – in August. SAP ERP was integrated with the IT application supporting restaurant service. The integration was based on SAP NetWeaver technologies.
There are currently further SAP undertakings underway in AmRest. The BCC consultants are running the implementation of SAP Business Intelligence tools with respect to reporting and consolidation of financial data, and also the implementation of SAP HR system.
