One of press leaders in Poland decided to move its SAP systems to BCC’s outsourcing center.
Since 26 November 2007 BCC specialists have been in charge of administrating the solutions belonging to Media Regionalne company, used by employees in 9 provinces. Under the contract concluded the SAP solutions were started in the BCC’s data processing center in Złotniki near Poznań.
The SAP ERP system supports management in the following companies of the Media Regionalne group: Echo Media (Kielce), Edytor Press (Lublin), GP Media (Bydgoszcz), Lubpress (Zielona Góra), Media Pomorskie (Koszalin), Pro-Media (Opole), R-Press (Rzeszów), Tygodnik Ostrołęcki and Wydawnictwo Prasa Podlaska (Białystok). The companies issue the following titles: Dziennik Wschodni, Gazeta Pomorska, Gazeta Lubuska, Nowa Trybuna Opolska, Dziennik Pomorza.
In 2002 Media Regionalne (the then Orkla Press Polska) with BCC support implemented the SAP system. The implementation covered finance and controlling, material management and sales and personnel and payroll. Media Regionalne also took advantage of BCC’s application services, namely remote support for key SAP users.
