At a press conference on April 26, 2024, Finance Minister Andrzej Domański announced that the mandatory KSeF implementation date had been postponed. As of February 1, 2026, the National System of e-Invoices will become mandatory for companies with annual turnover exceeding PLN 200 million, and as of April 1, 2026, for the rest.
The decision is the result of an audit commissioned by the Ministry and conducted by an independent entity. The audit conclusions mainly point to risks stemming from poorly designed IT architecture, which affected performance and security, as well as the ability to maintain and further develop the system.
In the wake of this information, most companies halted preparations to integrate their systems with the National System of e-Invoices. As a leading provider of software for integrating SAP with KSeF, we are actively participating in consultations with the Ministry of Finance and the KSeF provider (Aplikacje Krytyczne). During these meetings, it was confirmed that the postponement had no impact on the KSeF model and assumptions, nor on the FA(2) schema. For companies using SAP, this means that there is no reason to postpone integration projects for the future.
The obligation to integrate with KSeF affects several thousand companies using SAP in Poland. More than 140 companies that have decided to integrate KSeF with SAP using the All for One KSeF package, have found that this is a challenging and time-consuming task. Only the preparation for this integration made well in advance will allow you to avoid problems in finding a professional implementation partner before the upcoming deadline.
In addition, digitalization of the invoice flow process allows for the implementation of further automations in handling of both outgoing and incoming invoices.
