The best known producer of honey-cakes has been using SAP system since January 2005. The implementation, with the use of preconfigured SPRINT Food Industry package, was carried out by the team of consultans from BCC and 7milowy company.
The implementation works lasted from June 2004 and covered the following SAP range: financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, treasury, controlling, materials management, production planning, sales and distribution, HR management.
In the implementation a preconfigured SPRINT Food Industry package was used, which helped implement a wide range of SAP in a short time. SPRINT is offered by 7milowy and BCC within the initiative called mySAP All-in-One for middle-sized businesses.
Antonina Szulc, chairman of Kopernik SA, says: ‘We have found a satisfactory solution, namely SPRINT Food Industry. In one package we got a few important features: the best ERP system, quick implementation, a solution that is both flexible and suited to our needs. Przemysław Myśliwy, a board member in Kopernik SA, estimates: ‘For our company a complete SAP outsourcing which we are getting from BCC means a comprehensive way of reducing costs of SAP maintenance. In order to use SAP we did not have to buy a hardware platform, all we bought was a disc space and calculating power of the servers owned by BCC. The whole administration is carried out by specialists from BCC. We do not have to train and maintain our own team of administrators. In our estimation it just pays off’.
