Kamax SA, a world leader in manufacturing railway shock absorbers, has already been using SAP.
BCC-executed SAP implementation in Kamax SA started in April 2004 and covered the areas of financial accounting, fixed assets, controlling, materials management, production planning, and also sales and distribution. During the implementation a preconfigured solution SPRINT Discrete Manufacturing was used. The solution is offered by BCC within an initiative mySAP All-in-One for MSBs.
’As scheduled, we have started a wide range of mySAP ERP functionalities, including advanced functions of production planning. As a dynamically developing company we need a comprehensive solution', said Witold Rymarz, project manager for Kamax.
Kamax SA Mechanical Equipment Plant in Kańczuga produces shock absorbers, among others. The company sells to Polish clients as well as abroad: to Russia, China, Germany, Sweden, Romania, Great Britain and Ukraine. It employs 450 people and has a few controlled companies in Poland, as well as affiliated companies in Ukraine, Russia and China.
