One of the largest employers in Poland is implementing modern employee and manager self-service tools and a dedicated solution for working time accounting via intranet in the SAP system. The implementation of these solutions – SAP ESS/SAP MSS (Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service) and the dedicated application e-Time – is conducted by BCC.
Started in July this year, the project "HR for Tomorrow" aims to provide new, efficient and comfortable-to-use tools for supporting internal personnel processes (employee data management, processing of leave requests, management of leave plans), reporting HR data, and, most importantly, for planning and accounting of working time of employees who work e.g. in Makro market-halls, via intranet.
“Working time management – its registration in accordance with legal provisions as well as accounting according to internal regulations – these are tasks that relate to several thousand employees in our company. With such a scale, it is necessary to have an efficient, easy-to-use, intuitive tool to maintain the correctness of data and accounts and at the same time, a high effectiveness of management of these activities. This is what the SAP self-service solutions being implemented by BCC will provide us with. A very important aspect of this project is the fact that the new tool will enable full and, above all, user-friendly working time planning and accounting via intranet. The new solution, called by us e-Time, will allow for the working time management process to be radically optimized while maintaining its high quality”, says Paweł Średziński, Manager of Remuneration Policy and HR Tools Department at Makro.
The implementation of SAP ESS/MSS is a next stage of long-term cooperation between Makro and BCC. The implementations carried out by BCC for this chain include the implementation of SAP HR and SAP solutions supporting an incentive system based on the concept of MBO (Management by Objective).
