Getin Leasing: BCC implements SAP in the financial sector

The SAP system will streamline financial management at Getin Leasing S.A. – one of the biggest leasing companies in Poland. The implementation of SAP solutions together with their integration with the system which supports the leasing operations is being managed by BCC.

The project that commenced in April last year covers financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, and the Collection Management module which facilitates active management of receivables from the company’s customers, i.e. lessees. SAP Collection Management will support the Getin Leasing specialists in assessment and categorization of customers and in controlling settlement statuses under particular leasing contracts. The SAP system will be integrated with the EVO programme that supports the sales of leasing services in the company. New solutions will make it possible to optimize the lessees services, resulting in higher operational efficiency of Getin Leasing.

“Our company was one of the first in the Polish financial services sector to use SAP solutions while it was still operating as Carcade Leasing. After more than 10 years following the first SAP project, we’ve decided to implement SAP somewhat from scratch, building the system so that it meets the current and future needs. That’s how we’re going to prepare the platform for further development of the company within Getin Holding” – says Tadeusz Hupało, Head of IT Department at Getin Leasing S.A.

Getin Leasing, part of Getin Holding, provides car, equipment and other assets leasing services for small and medium enterprises. Aside from Getin Leasing, Getin Holding comprises of Getin Noble Bank, Open Finance, TU Europa, Powszechny Dom Kredytowy Fiolet. More: www.getinleasing.pl, www.getin.pl
