Wielkopolski Cukier sp. z o.o. with Nordzucker AG as a major shareholder, and Nordzucker Polska sp. z o.o., Nordzucker Polska Spółka Komandytowa and Cukrownia Opalenica SA, have been using SAP solutions in the scope of finance, logistics and human resources management since January this year. The implementation was carried out by BCC.
The project commenced in March 2002 and covered the following areas of management: financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, materials management, sales and distribution, and human resources management. Additionally, BCC consultants developed and activated an interface between SAP and a system that handles accounts with the sugar beet planters.
Already in April this year, SAP implementation works begun in next two companies of the Group: Pomorski Cukier and Cukrownia Chełmża. The implementation is also managed by BCC.
Nordzucker Group is one of the largest sugar producers in Europe. In Poland, Nordzucker AG has shares in 6 sugar factories, among others in: Opalenica, Chełmża, Wschowa, Szamotuły.
