A leading construction company is carrying out a comprehensive implementation of the SAP ERP system. The project is run by BCC and an internal SAP competence center of the Bilfinger Berger Group.
Launched in February this year, the project covers financial accounting (FI), asset accounting (AA), controlling (CO) and project management (PS) as well as materials management (MM), including the support of purchasing processes. Bilfinger Berger Budownictwo will be also using SAP Business Workflow (WF) solutions, which will support the flow of cost invoices, among other things.
The implementation is carried out using components of the SAP corporate solution operating in the Bilfinger Berger Group, with large modifications and developments for purposes of the Polish company. The implementation work is conducted jointly by BCC (finance, materials management and workflow areas) and BB SC IT (CO and PS areas), a competence center responsible for maintaining and developing IT systems in the Bilfinger Berger Group.
According to the plans, employees of Bilfinger Berger Budownictwo will start using the SAP system in January 2013.
