One of the more important producers of electrical equipment in Poland is starting a roll-out SAP implementation. The project is supported by BCC.
Berker Polska uses corporate SAP model that functions in the headquarters in Germany. The corporate solution will be adjusted to the specificity of the Polish unit, e.g. to Polish legal requirements.
Implementation works are starting in June. The scope of works performer by BCC involves implementing SAP system in financial accounting (FI), fixed assets accounting (FI-AA), also adjusting SAP functionalities in materials management (MM) and sales and distribution (SD). Cooperation with BCC also involves training courses for Berker Polska employees in SAP functionalities in the above mentioned areas as well as controlling (CO).
Joanna Przybylak, a board member in Berker Polska, estimates: ‘When choosing an implementation partner we paid attention to experience in similar projects, including those in companies with German capital. BCC is highly competent in supporting corporate SAP implementations, which is confirmed by opinions of clients pleased with their cooperation with BCC in SAP roll-outs’.
Berker Polska is planning to start using SAP system in January 2006.
