Parfümerie Douglas International GmbH is one of world leaders in luxury goods retailing, mainly perfumes. The net is now starting in the Polish market, opening one Douglas store after another in the biggest cities of the country.
Due to starting its operation in Poland, Parfümerie Douglas International GmbH is now in the process of corporate SAP system roll-out to its Polish unit. The implementation started in October and is supported by BCC, which assists in adjusting the SAP system to Polish legal requirements (in financial accounting, controlling and fixed assets accounting). BCC will also provide SAP training for Douglas employees. SAP is planned to be used by Douglas Polska from January 2004.
The implementation of SAP in Douglas Polska is another corporate SAP project with the participation of BCC. Over 20 corporate SAP projects supported by BCC include implementations in Nordzucker Group, MAN Group and Kennametal.
