Since 1 April 2008 the latest version of the HP software supports BCC in management of IT services in compliance with the ITIL standards and operation of service reports.
HP Service Manager 7.0, available since November 2007, is the newest version of HP Service Center – a tool used by internal IT departments of big organizations and outsourcing centers all over the world.
The HP Service Manager platform is used by BCC for operating, monitoring and filing of problems reported by end users of IT systems. Moreover, it supports realization of processes within the IT Services Management System, which is compliant with the best ITIL standards and with ISO/IEC 20000.
Attention should be paid to the short implementation time of the application. Within barely four and a half months since access was granted to the newest software version the consultants of the BCC Outsourcing Services Department adjusted the system to the requirements and specific character of the BCC competence center.
„HP Service Manager supports fast and efficient operation of service reports, while at the same time preserving parameters of the SLA contracts and also ITIL standards, which we follow in providing our services” – said Waldemar Sokołowski, BCC Outsourcing Services Director.
„Many of our clients using the HP Service Center software consider migrating to HP Service Manager, due to bigger possibilities this package offers. The first implementation realized in Poland by BCC specialists has proven their professionalism. Companies intending to implement HP Service Manager may now use the expertise of the BCC competence center” – says Paweł Trojak, Software Partner Manager from HP Polska.
BCC has been providing support, service and maintenance services for IT solutions, including mainly SAP system, since 1999. They have been used by over 60 companies now, including ABB, Amica, Grupa Metro, Grupa Żywiec, ING Bank Śląski, Kompania Piwowarska, PayUp Polska and Praktiker. The BCC service organization also plays the role of the internal IT help desk for five companies comprised in the BCC capital group.
