Quality Assurance System functioning in BCC since 1998 is now certificated in accordance with the new process standard, ISO 9001:2000. Verifying audit has been conducted by DQS, one of the most renowned certifying organisation worldwide.
BCC Quality Assurance System controls, among other processes, a customer service system beginning from preparation of offers, going right through realisation of orders and delivery up to service. The Quality Assurance System also provides procedures related to implementation of SAP R/3 system, being the main subject of the company activities. Operational procedures included in the quality regulations assure repeatability and required planning, realisation and control over the process of SAP R/3 system implementation, within the framework of designed implementation methods. The certificated Quality Assurance System guarantees BBC clients that the implementation is realised within the agreed time schedule, budget and scope.
In June 1998, BCC as the first consulting company in Poland, obtained ISO 9001 certificate for consulting and implementation services. In September 2001, DQS certifying organisation (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen GmbH) audited BCC Quality Assurance System in order to verify its compliance with the new ISO standard, 9001:2000. The 9001:2000 standard puts pressure on effective management of business processes in a company.
Mr Jacek Jan Pietrzak, DQS auditor, summarised the results of audit in the following words: "Audit has proved that the analysed BCC business processes comply with the new ISO process standard, 9001:2000. With a special insight we performed examination of the method of managing the undertaking of SAP R/3 implementation. Demonstrated compliance of BCC Quality Assurance System, also regulating the implementation methodology of SAP R/3, with the new standard proves that BCC renders implementation services on invariable and high level."
