The largest private media group in Poland has started to implement the SAP ERP system. The purpose of the project conducted by BCC is to create a comprehensive IT platform supporting a further development of the company.
Launched in April this year, the project comprises SAP solutions for finance, controlling, material management and sales. As part of the project, BCC consultants will also integrate the SAP ERP system with a dozen or so other IT applications operating in TVN.
“As a media company we have a very complex IT environment, which consists also of applications built to meet our specific needs. Therefore, for the most important IT project this year, we have engaged BCC – a partner with a large experience in both the SAP ERP implementation and the integration of SAP with other systems”, said Tomasz Nitsch, IT Director, TVN.
The SAP system will be used by ca. 100 TVN employees. The use of the new system is scheduled to start in January, 2011.
TVN is another BCC customer from the media industry. BCC has carried out SAP implementations and provides outsourcing services i.a. for Media Regionalne – a leading Polish press group, and Wolters Kluwer Polska – the largest publisher of legal and business publications in the Polish market.
