Polskie Wydawnictwa Profesjonalne Sp. z o.o. is the largest Polish company providing professional information in the field of legal regulations.
The implementation works began on the turn of June and July 2002 and cover the following areas of management: financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, controlling, treasury, raw materials control and supply, sales and distribution and the functionality of on-line shop, contained in mySAP CRM.
The project includes five autonomic PWP entities: Wydawnictwo Prawnicze LEX, Dom Wydawniczy ABC, Wydawnictwo Konieczny i Kruszewski, Kantor Wydawniczy Zakamycze and Oficyna Ekonomiczna. The companies specialise in publishing updated electronic products (like for example LEX, a popular base of the effective legal acts recorded on CD) and updated paper publications, books and magazines. SPRINT is expected to become operational in the five PWP entities in January 2003.
PWP (Polish Professional Publishing Houses) began implementation of SPRINT – a preconfigured SAP system medium sized companies. The implementation works are carried out by BCC.
Mr. Damian Zajkowski, PWP Chief Accountant and Project Manager said: "The implementation of SPRINT in PWP is aimed at intensifying the competitive power of our company, by integrating all the entities in one IT system. We expect that once SAP system, containing the best ERP and CRM solutions, becomes operational the quality of customer service in PWP significantly improves. And by implementing SPRINT, the preconfigured model prepared by BCC, we will obtain considerable cost and time gains".
SPRINT is a preconfigured solution prepared by BCC, facilitating quicker and cost effective implementation of SAP system in medium sized companies. SPRINT is the only one preconfigured solution that has been certified by SAP Polska. So far, SPRINT has been implemented in Elite Cafe and in 12 publishing companies and printing houses, belonging to an international medial group.
