Opalenica Sugar Plant SA, a company with majority of shares owned by Nordzucker AG, together with Wielkopolski Cukier Sp. z o.o., Nordzucker Polska Sp. z o.o. and Nordzucker Polska Spolka Komandytowa, will use SAP solutions in finances, logistics and human resources management. The implementation project is carried out by Business Consulting Center (BCC).
The implementation began in March 2002 and covers the following areas of management: financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, controlling, materials management and supply, sales and distribution, human resources management. SAP solutions are expected to become operational in the four companies in January 2003.
Nordzucker Group is one of the largest sugar producers in Europe. In Poland, Nordzucker AG owns shares in 6 sugar plants, among others in: Opalenica, Wschowa and Szamotuly.
