From 22 to 23 September 20003 the 7th SAP Congress will be held in Warsaw. It is the biggest conference on the most recent trends in management that takes place in Poland. This year’s leading topic of the Congress is effective change management. BCC is a co-organiser of the event.
A proper attitude toward change is a challenge to every manager, especially now, when due to Poland’s accession to the EU there are new conditions and possibilities emerging. How to manage change not to be left behind, to gain and then keep an edge over the competition? During lectures and discussions the most innovative Polish managers will tackle factors that influence company’s efficiency, like the development of new technologies, Poland’s joining the EU and the globalisation of economy.
The representatives of BCC clients will also deliver presentations. Tomasz Staszelis, IT Director in Grupa Żywiec, together with Michał Kunze, project manager for BCC, will make a presentation titled ‘Think globally, act locally – implementation in Poland and the standards of an international concern’. They will present factors and dangers arising from SAP implementation in international corporations. The example will be SAP implementation project in the business units of Grupa Żywiec, especially Copernicus project in Żywiec Brewery, that was very well evaluated by the company.
As a co-organiser of the 7th SAP Congress we invite you to take part in the conference, and especially to visit our stand during the congress.
Piotr Różański, Finance Director of Polskie Wydawnictwa Profesjonalne (Polish Professional Publishers – PWP), with Piotr Łopatka, project manager for BCC, will elaborate on SAP implementation in PWP, performed with the use of SPRINT – a preconfigured SAP system for middle-sized businesses (the presentation titled ‘SAP in a middle-sized company. Finance director tells the truth’). The presentation by Piotr Różański will focus on the reasons behind the decision to implement SAP and the choice of SPRINT, the progress and results of the implementation as seen by a member of the board and the project sponsor.
