BCC, a dedicated and certified partner of SAP Polska, has concluded its first contracts with clients for services included in a package ”SAP welcomes to the European Union”, a campaign of adjusting client’s SAP systems to the EU legal requirements.
After Poland’s joining the EU on 1 May some legal requirements will change and that will require making modifications in the SAP systems. Taking advantage of its experience in the countries that joined the EU in the past, SAP has prepared a package of services “SAP welcomes to the European Union”. The legal side of the package, including VAT tax regulations, was prepared in cooperation with z PricewaterhouseCoopers. The package ”SAP welcomes to the European Union” includes functional solutions prepared by the system manufacturer. Implementing those solutions by 1 May guarantees a proper preparation of the SAP systems to working under new legal regulations.
BCC has been appointed by SAP Polska as a dedicated, certified implementation partner in the campaign of adjusting clients’ systems to the EU regulations. The result of the projects executed by BCC is a SAP system configured in such a way as to enable the following:
| keeping proper records of transactions within the EU (intra community acquisition and supply), |
| preparing the statistical report INTRASTAT |
| preparing the tax report "EC Sales list" – also for triangular transactions |
| fulfilling the information requirements while issuing invoices and advance payments recording |
| finding possible system solutions for invoicing on behalf of the vendor (self-billing) |
Using the services from the package ”SAP welcomes to the European Union” guarantees obtaining a safe solution consistent with EU legal requirements in its system aspect. Moreover, it will be a standard solution, supported by SAP (also in case the law is changed) within the Maintenance payment.
