SAP AG conducted an audit of BCC Outsourcing Center. The aim of the audit was to confirm that the infrastructure of BCC Data Centers, the method of providing the services, the possessed competences and BCC potential for providing SAP outsourcing services meet the high requirements of SAP.
During the audit at the premises of BCC, SAP AG representative performed a complex review of processes, procedures, tools and standards implemented in the organization, as well as consultant competences, and the infrastructure of BCC Data Centers – two independent, but connected centers of data processing situated in Złotniki near Poznań. Simultaneously, the auditors performed the audit of BCC infrastructure and competences with regards to cloud computing. For several years, BCC has been providing services in the cloud, in Private Cloud model, and recently also in Software as a Service (SaaS) and in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model.
A positive result of the audit was confirmed by granting BCC the status of SAP Certified Provider of Hosting Services and SAP Certified Provider of Cloud Services.
“The successful audit is a confirmation that BCC as a hosting and cloud computing service provider for SAP solutions meet the very restrictive requirements. In one organization, we combine the expert knowledge on SAP systems, IT competences and high working standards. This year, we added to this potential a second data processing center, which protects the data and systems of our customers in a double way” says Tomasz Wawrzonek, Deputy Director of IT, BCC Data Centers.
BCC offers a full range of services required for the maintenance of SAP systems, including among others; managed hosting, administration and monitoring, collocation, as well as a backup infrastructure service for SAP environment (a backup data processing center).
