SUPON, from Białystok – a company that manufactures fire fighting equipment and provides services for fire fighting systems – has chosen 7milowy to implement SAP Business One. The project began in July this year.
At this stage of the project, the production, materials management, logistics, financial, and accounting functions of SAP Business One will be launched. This undertaking constitutes the second phase of the project, under Activity 1.4.2 of the implementation of an integrated enterprise management system, financed by the European Union.
When choosing a system, the board of SUPON Bialystok wanted not only to manage the entire production process in an integrated way – and in so doing, optimise costs and identify the sources of unnecessary wastes of time and materials – but also to facilitate development. The new system was expected to meet the specific economic objectives, such as lowering unit costs, reducing production errors, reducing downtime, and shortening processing times.
