BCC started cooperation with AWIL SA, the company specialising in obtaining EU funds.
Within the programme ‘Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises’ the EU finances development projects. Those include investments into SAP system. Businesses may apply for funds for their projects according to the following rules:
- Measure 2.1: financing implementation services up to 50% value, maximum to PLN 250,000; a programme dedicated to the SME sector (small and medium-sized enterprises)
- Measure 2.2: financing the whole investment: the costs of implementation services, the costs of licence purchase and hardware platforms – the programme for big enterprises
- Measure 2.3: financing up to 50% expenditeure on licences and hardware; the programme dedicated to the SME sector.
Measure 2.1 requires that an implementation company that carries out the project have an appropriate UE certificate. BCC possesses such a certificate, thanks to which the companies that implement SAP with BCC may apply to have the expenditure covered from the EU funds within this programme.
As regards obtaining the UE funds, BCC cooperates with AWIL SA. AWIL is a company that specialises in obtaining the UE funds for Polish enterprises and authorities. In 2004 AWIL already supported over 160 entities in this regard. The value of accepted applications supported by AWIL amounts to PLN 80m.
Romuald Lenkajtis, chairman of the board in AWIL S.A., estimates: ‘The probability of obtaining the EU funds depends on the estimation of investment impact on a company’s increase in competitiveness and the level of project risk. The choice of SAP system and an experienced implementation company, namely BCC, considerably increases a chance that the money will be granted’.
BCC’s cooperation with AWIL concerns all the above mentioned programmes (measures 2.1., 2.2., 2.3.).
